I grew up in the small town of Clemson, South Carolina where my father, James, managed the local Holiday Inn and my mother, Chrystelle, was a successful Realtor. Having both parents in the service business in such a tight-knit community laid the foundation for the personal service that I extend to my clients today. My values of integrity, hard work and respect are a natural outgrowth of that small town experience.

Over the last twenty years I have followed my passions for education and the development of business and investment opportunities that benefit both me and my clients. I have generated a wealth of experiences that include an undergraduate degree in Visual and Environmental Studies at Harvard University and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I have been involved with real estate and finance for the last seventeen years in the areas of construction (I built homes out of college), finance (home loans and financial management), and sales.

Before becoming an independent agent working under the Brokerage of USA Realty and Loans, I worked with Pacific Union and Alain Pinel selling premium homes. My wealth of experience and commitment to serving my client's best interest, whether that results in a transaction or not, sets me apart from other real estate agents. I endeavor to partner with my clients in a no-nonsense approach to real estate that is grounded in honest, accurate information and service that is focused on each client’s specialized needs. I am also committed to making the world a better place by being involved in my local and professional communities. Over the years I have been honored to serve as a director for several professional and charitable organizations including the Oakland Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, East Bay Regional Data Service, and The Lake Merritt Breakfast Club.

My wife, Jennifer Lieberman, is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. She attended the University of Pennsylvania, the California Institute of Integral Studies, and is a Marriage and Family Therapist in Oakland and San Francisco. We have two wonderful little boys, Elijah and River!
